Start a conversation about NAIT Alert

 At NAIT, emergency preparedness is a shared responsibility. We all have a role to play in ensuring our colleagues and students know about NAIT Alert , NAIT’s emergency notification system.
 
At the start of team meetings or during the first class of a new term, take a “safety moment” to talk about the NAIT Alert emergency notification system and to download the NAIT Alert mobile app.

Share these messages below with students and colleagues.

•  Receive notifications from NAIT during an emergency by downloading the NAIT Alert mobile app. 
• Download the free NAIT Alert mobile app from your app store. It's available  for iOS and Android devices.
• Visit NAIT’s emergency website (nait.ca/emergency) to understand how and when NAIT Alert will be used in an emergency. 
• Share the app with students, colleagues, friends and family.
• Take the opportunity to share “safety moments” at other meetings and get-togethers.

 A simple conversation about NAIT Alert can help your colleagues and students stay safe and informed during an emergency. Check-in with your colleagues and students regularly to remind them to download the app. If they have already done so, thank them for doing their part.
