Staff and students, please be ready to show your photo identification and green NAIT vaccine QR code in the NAIT Alert app, which indicates your proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test has been verified. 

Visitors, please be ready to show your photo identification and either a paper or electronic record from the health provider that administered the vaccine, a government-issued record of your vaccination history, or proof of a privately paid COVID-19 PCR or rapid test completed within the 72 hours before coming to campus.

The International Centre remains closed with services offered virtually.

Open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Closed, with programs offered virtually, on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Library Services 

Open with distancing and capacity restrictions. The Makerspace will be available in a limited capacity only until Monday, Nov. 8.

Computer Commons

Food and beverages are not allowed at the Computer Commons.

Student Collaboration and Meeting Rooms

Nîsôhkamâtotân Centre

The Nîsôhkamâtotân Centre is open for 1-on-1, in-person appointments for students. Virtual meetings for the PAY program will continue and are also available to prospective and current students. The community space will remain closed for now. See hours, locations, contact information and services.

IT Services

Walk up services for staff and students are open with restrictions in place.

Key and Access Office

Open via appointment only.

  • Instructions are sent via email for visiting which includes hours and safety protocols.
  • NAIT Protective Services (NPS) located in D104 will be accepting key returns. Contact keys prior to returning keys

Weekly rentals
A variety of shorter rental periods (2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 weeks) will be available at a special rate. Please note the weekly term rentals begin from the day you reserve your locker.

Lockers in the Fitness Weight Centre (FWC) have been transitioned over to the One@NAIT office

Parking Services

 Open Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Permits can be purchased online. Contract staff must contact parking@nait.ca for permits.

Health Services

All Health Services locations at NAIT are open. 

  • Main Campus Clinic (S105) open 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday (closed for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.).
  • Patricia Campus Health Office (P130) open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Friday (closed for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.).
  • Souch Campus Health Office (Z153F) open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday (closed for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.).
Mental Health Resources
  • Well-being education and promotion will take place virtually through social media, webinars, virtual events. See resource and services.
  • NAIT students have access to headversity, a mental wellness app that can help build resilience with personalized tools, exercises, education and health tracking. Access headversity and enter the access code NAITS6 when prompted.
Recreation facilities and Fitness Programs

Closed for in-person services.  Virtual services are available.

Student Counselling

Counselling services are available virtually, by phone or video.

  • Students can contact Counselling by phone at 780.378.6133, by email at counselling@nait.ca or  through my.nait.ca/counselling.
  • Students can also access 24-hour self-check strategies and video counselling at wellnesstogether.ca, a free comprehensive support for all Canadians.
  • Kids Help Phone is 24-hours and not just for kids. Text 686686, call 1-800--668-6868 or chat online at kidshelpphone.ca.
Reflection Rooms

Reflection rooms in J207 and CAT406 will remain closed until further notice to support the provincial COVID response.

Decisions about re-opening will be revisited. Visit this page or nait.ca/chaplaincy for updates.

Staff and students can request a virtual appointment with a chaplain by e-mailing chaplaincy@nait.ca. Our chaplaincy roster appears on the pages listed above.
