COVID-19 Update for Nov. 16: A message from NAIT's president and CEO

Posted: Nov 16, 2020 2:16 PM

Last week we saw new mandatory measures introduced in Edmonton as the number of COVID-19 cases in Alberta continues to rise. While these measures do not impact NAIT directly, they do add to the many ways we have had to adjust our lives.

The health and safety of our staff, students and broader community remain NAIT’s top priorities and inform every decision we make. We are working hard to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 on our campuses. You all play an important part in helping us with this and I thank you for all your efforts.

Please make sure you are aware of NAIT’s current health and safety requirements and follow all precautions if you need to come to campus. Above all, I want to stress how important it is for you to stay home if you are sick.

NAIT is a strong and supportive community. Please lean on each other and use the many resources and support services available to students and staff.

Take care of yourselves and those around you. Stay well.

Laura Jo Gunter

President and CEO, NAIT
