Convocation and grad photography

NAIT has postponed convocation ceremonies planned for this spring. The suspension of convocation does not mean you will not graduate. At this time, eligible students will still graduate. NAIT will reschedule convocation at a later date, possibly in the fall.

Students who are eligible for convocation were sent a separate email earlier on March 17 with more details.

Lifetouch has decided to cancel all grad photography. They will be contacting each graduate who currently has a sitting booked.

Student parking, grad gown and locker refunds

To request a refund for your grad gown, locker, balance on your one AT NAIT card, or student parking at Patricia and Souch Campuses, please complete the Ancillary Services request form.  Once you submit a form, you will be contacted over the next few weeks.  Please be patient during this busy time. If you haven't been contacted by May 1, 2020, please email shop@nait.ca

While NAIT will reschedule convocation, we recommend that students request refunds for their grad gown rental at this time.

Refunds for student Main Campus parking will be issued automatically. The office will not be open for in-person inquiries. Refunds will be pro-rated for March 16 to the permit expiry date and processed as follows:

  • Refunds for student Main Campus parking permits purchased online will be processed immediately. Refunds will be applied to the same credit card in 2-3 business days.
  • Refunds for student Main Campus parking permits purchased in-person will automatically be issued via cheque and mailed after 10 business days.

Retrieving belongings

Main Campus

Students who wish to pick up belongings from their personal and athletic lockers on Main Campus should do so by 6 p.m. on Friday, March 20. Updates on shop and lab lockers will be provided in the coming days.
